Buy to let investment is on the increase as property investors try and beat the stamp duty surcharge deadline announced by UK Chancellor, George Osborne which comes into force on 1 April 2016.

A 3% surcharge will be levied on the purchasers of second homes, including buy to let properties.  Overall Buy to Let applications were up 27% in January compared to the month before.
